Anne-Therese Oberstar. 1995, majors in Justice and Peace Studies and Spanish.
After graduation, Annie worked at Jubilee Jobs, an employment agency for ex-offenders, welfare recipients, and homeless–people in recovery programs. She worked as a lead job counselor and case manager. She reports that she “loves working with people in crisis; feels her impact on a personal level.”
Currently, newly married to Darren, she is pursuing a program in Somatic Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, to help people deal with trauma and mental health issues. As a student there, she hopes to work with the homeless population - children and families. One of the program graduates works at San Quentin Prison. Annie enthusiatically recommends the program.
