National Student Advertising Competition
Each year, the AAF and a corporate sponsor provide a case study outlining the history of its product and current advertising situation. The case study is always candid and reflects a real world situation. Students must research the product and its competition, identify potential problem areas and devise a completely integrated marketing communications campaign for the client. Each student team then "pitches" its campaign to a panel of judges at the district level. Winners from each district then compete at the National Competition in June.

Recent sponsors were Chrysler Neon, the American Red Cross, Hallmark and Toyota Echo.

Summit Communications
Participate in the student-run advertising agency, which serves the local and University communities by providing advertising services. Students have the opportunity to work in different roles to create Ads for local clients., This opportunity allows you to create professional ads to use in your portfolio.
