Internet Native Banner (INB)

Sometimes referred to as "production Banner", this system contains the university's "system of record" for alumni, employee, financial, and student information.

This information is managed in one or more of the five core administrative modules - Advancement, Financial Aid, Finance, Human Resources, and Student.

Banner is a product of Ellucian.

How to Launch Banner

  1. Open the UST Web Apps by first going to your Start Menu and typing the phrase, "UST Web Apps" this will bring up the icon. Click the icon. 
  2.  The UST Web Apps menu will popup. Click on the Banner environment you wish to launch.
  3.  When prompted with the following message, click the “Do not show this again for apps from the publisher and location above”, and click the “Run” button.
  4. When prompted with the following message, click the “Do not show this again for apps from the publisher and location above”, and click the “Run” button.
  5. Login into Banner with your username and password.

How to Launch AppWorx

  1. Open the UST Web Apps by first going to your Start Menu and typing the phrase, "UST Web Apps" this will bring up the icon. Click the icon. 
  2. The UST Web Apps menu will popup.  Click on the APPWORX PROD link.
  3. The link will bring you to the Appworx page.  Click on “Start the Application Manager Client” link
  4.  When you are prompted to open the Client.jnlp, click “Open with Java™ Web Start Launcher”, and then the OK button
  5.  When prompted “Do you want to run this application”, check the “Do not show this again for apps from the publisher and location above” and then “Run” button.
  6.  When prompted to the following message, click the “Run with the latest version” button
  7.  Enter your Appworx username and password.
