ListManager is a system that makes it possible to create, manage and control electronic mailing and marketing lists on the Internet. Lyris is the software used to manage these electronic mailing and marketing lists. This robust tool is primarily used for e-mail marketing campaigns that can send an e-mail to a large swath of addresses both on and off campus. Lyris can send both text based and graphical/HTML e-mails. Please contact Web & Media Services to design and develop marketing based graphical/HTML e-mails for external audiences.
Who should use ListManager?
Access to Lyris is for departments that use e-mail campaigns as part of a promotional marketing effort. Lyris also serves organizations that need to announce departmental events or send newsletters and updates to members. Although Lyris is primarily for reaching external audiences, it can be used to email UST accounts when there is a need for privacy or occasional communication to specific internal groups. Anyone sending mass email is required to follow UST policies on use of email and comply with CAN-SPAM Act guidelines.
How do I get a list?
Faculty and staff interested in setting up a list should contact their Academic Technology Consultant/IRT Consultant or ask to have them contact you via this online form.
