Activating Your Voicemail Box
Before you can begin using your voicemail you will need to set up your mailbox by phone; recording your name, a personal greeting, and changing your passcode from the default (your UST ID number) assigned by the administrator.
The voicemail system will talk you through your first session. Before beginning the tutorial try to think of a passcode and a greeting you wish your callers to hear.
Setting Up Your Mailbox
Accessing your mailbox for the first time:

You will be prompted to enter your own personal 6-10 digit passcode which you will use to access your mailbox from this point on. The system will ask you to verify your passcode by having you enter your new personal passcode a second time.
| Recording your Name |
Next you will be asked to set up the name for your voicemail box. At the prompt record your name then press
, then select one of the following options:
| to save | |
| to review | |
![]() |
to record |

to discard |
You will now be prompted to record a personalized greeting for your callers. Once you have recorded your greeting you will be able to select from the above four options for saving, reviewing, recording, or discarding your greeting. After your greeting has been saved the system will congratulate you on successfully completing the voicemail setup. You can hang up or if you stay on the line you will be directed to your voicemail box
