Getting Your Files

An Overview of Remote / Off-site File Access...


UST filesystems, such as Deptstore, Acadstore, and MyStorage, can be accessed from offsite computers through the internet via WebDav.  WebDav access is controlled by your UST username and password. 

 

Using a PC

How To Access MyStorage (from off-campus)

  1. Start Internet Explorer
  2. Choose Open from the File Menu
    Enter the URL: https://mystorageweb.stthomas.edu/username (Make sure you type an s after http)
  3. Select the "Open as Web Folder" box
    (This option allows you to upload & download files) 
  4. Click OK
  5. Enter your UST username and password (and domain "ust") whenever prompted. If you are not prompted for a domain, enter "ust\username" in the username field.

How to Access Deptstore1web / Acadstore1web (from off-campus)

  1. Start Internet Explorer

    Enter the URL: https://ust-deptstore1web.stthomas.edu/your sharename (Make sure you type an s after http)
  3. Select the "Open as Web Folder" box
    (This option allows you to upload & download files) 
  4. Click OK
  5. Enter your UST username and password (and domain "ust") whenever prompted. If you are not prompted for a domain, enter "ust\username" in the username field.


Using a Mac

How To Access MyStorage (Mac OS X 10.4)

If you are using Mac OS X 10.3 or earlier, please contact the IRT TechDesk.

  1. Activate the Finder.
  2. Click the "Go" menu and choose "Connect to Server".
  3. Enter the URL: https://mystorageweb.stthomas.edu/username (Make sure you type an s after http)
  4. Press Enter.
  5. Enter your UST username and password when prompted.

How to Access Deptstore1web / Acadstore1web (MacOS X 10.4)

If you are using Mac OS X 10.3 or earlier, please contact the IRT TechDesk.

  1. Activate the Finder.
  2. Click the "Go" menu and choose "Connect to Server".
  3. Enter the URL: https://deptstore1web.stthomas.edu/your sharename (Make sure you type an s after http)
  4. Press Enter.
  5. Enter your UST username and password when prompted.
