Personal Printers for Faculty/Staff

Currently the print management program only covers networked HP printers...

Listed are the options for service and support of a non-networked personal or desktop printer.  This includes, but is not limited to inkjets, deskjets, bubblejets, plotters, and non HP brand printers regardless of network capability.

Service and Support

If you experience a problem with your department's personal printer the first step is to contact the IRT Tech Desk.

  1. A work ticket will be created. 
  2. A tech will be assigned the ticket and then evaluate and attempt to repair the printer.

If it is decided that it is an issue a client services tech is unable to fix then it will be up to the department to pay for the repairs from an outside vendor.

  • Contact the company that manufactured the printer.  Most have web sites available where you can obtain information.

To purchase a new printer contact IRT Purchase or your local consultant.
