
Listed are the options for service and support of a non-networked personal or desktop printer. This includes, but is not limited to inkjets, deskjets, bubblejets, plotters, and non HP brand printers regardless of network capability.
If you experience a problem with your department's personal printer the first step is to contact the IRT Tech Desk.
- A work ticket will be created.
- A tech will be assigned the ticket and then evaluate and attempt to repair the printer.
If it is decided that it is an issue a client services tech is unable to fix then it will be up to the department to pay for the repairs from an outside vendor.
- Contact the company that manufactured the printer. Most have web sites available where you can obtain information.
