The UST Macintosh Printer Utility will allow you to setup your Macintosh to print to a university printer...

Please follow these steps for downloading and using the Mac Printer Utility. 

1. Click here to download the UST Macintosh Printer Utility.
2. Find the downloaded file on your computer (it will likely be saved either on your Desktop or in your Documents folder.)  It will be called "UST_Mac_Printer_Util.zip" . 
   
   
   
3. Double click this file to expand the utility.  This will create a new application called "UST Macintosh Printer Utility" .
   
4. Launch the "UST Macintosh Printer Utility" application.
5. If you are warned that Equitrac is not installed please contact the IRT Tech Desk.
6. Click the appropriate button for your campus.
7. Choose a printer from the drop down list.
8. Click Install.

Your computer is now setup to print to the selected printer.  Repeat these steps for any other printers you would like to setup a connection to.

After you run the utility for the first time you will need to delete any existing printers currently setup on your Macintosh. 

1. Launch the Printer Setup Utility which can be found in the "Utilities" folder inside your Applications folder.
2. Click and highlight any listed printers named something other than the name of the printer(s) you just installed.
3. Click the delete button.  Repeat this for all of the printers listed (*NOTE* if Adobe PDF is listed, do not delete that printer.)
4. Quit the Printer Setup Utility.
