Your NetID and password allow you to, among other things, log on to UST domain computers, log into the email server, and access UST network resources from non-UST computers.
Please visit the NetID page for more detailed information on the NetID system.
Murphy Online allows you to access registration information, employee time sheets, financial aid and more.
Your MURPHY Online account is different than your UST account and requires a 6 digit PIN for access. MURPHY Online provides access to your personal information, financial aid, class registration, grades, and employee services.
Your PIN number is assigned to you by the university. PIN numbers, like your UST network password, can be setup or reset by contacting the IRT Tech Desk. However, you must have access to your UST email to receive the automatically generated message with your new MURPHY PIN.
Follow this link to the MURPHY Secure Login site.
Banner accounts allow you to access and set permission levels to various screens within the Banner system. If you need access to an area within Banner, or need a banner password re-set, please contact the IRT Tech Desk.
XST/XTRA Accounts
Employees who need administrative access to UST domain computers may wish to request a "xtra-" account or, for student employees, a "xst-" account.
"xtra-" accounts allow employees to login as administrators on one or more UST domain machines while ensuring a stronger degree of network security by separating an employee's NetID account from his/her admin account.
If you would like to request an "xtra-" account please contact the IRT Tech Desk.
"xst-" accounts allow student employees access and administrative access to UST domain machines and network resources that a student NetID account would not allow.
If you would like to request a "xst-" account on behalf of a student employee, please visit https://webapp.stthomas.edu/RFS/clientservices/xstaccount.jsp. Before filling out the web form though, please be sure to know the NetID for each student you wish to create the "xst" account, as well as the asset ID numbers for each computer that he/she will need access to. If you need assistance, please contact the IRT Tech Desk.
Note: IRT recommends that a "xst-" account be requested for all student employees who need to work with UST computers.
