Resident Connections Appointments
All residence hall rooms are equipped with a campus data network connection for each resident. The network provides access to UST computing resources such as email, MyStorage, and the Internet from residence hall rooms.
Resident Connections Appointments
If you are living on campus and are having trouble connecting to either the wireless or wired network, you may contact the Tech Desk to set up a "Connections Appointment". During an appointment two members of IRT Client Services will visit your room to try and asses the issue you are having with connecting to the network.
Appointments are accepted Monday-Friday from 10:00am-5:00pm. You will be asked to provide a two hour block of time in which you know you will be in your room. IRT staff will visit you within that two hour block of time.
Note: IRT staff can assist with ensuring that your computer is properly configured to connect to the UST network, and help you diagnose whether it may need additional service. IRT staff cannot affect hardware or software repairs on computers not owned by the University of St. Thomas.
