Creating a New Page
When creating a new page, be sure to consider where the page should be stored. If it is a page to be reached from a link on a “parent” page, consider saving it in the same folder as its “parent” page. Try to keep you pages grouped into logical storage areas. - Navigate to the folder where the new page will reside.
- From the Collage Toolbar, click the New Document button.
- In the New Document dialog box, type:
Name: This is the name of your new page. Most page names consist of one word that accurately describes the subject of that page. It is recommend to use all lower-case letters and no spaces or punctuation marks/symbols. If you need more than one word for the filename, treat them as all one word. Use the page names already in your folder as a guide.
Description: The Description text is displayed in the title bar of the browser window. It should concisely describe the page content. The description text can be more than one word, and use spaces, such as: Benefits and Services.
For help with either of these, don’t hesitate to contact your Site Manager!

- Click the OK button. The new page will open in the Collage Contribution Editor.
