Remote Access (VPN)

Overview

UST's Virtual Private Network (VPN) creates a secure, encrypted connection between your computer and the UST network. Use of the VPN also allows you to access resources that are not normally available off campus. VPN for Enterprise Systems access is given when permissions are granted for the specific enterprise system. For information on the two VPN options please see our Network VPN and Remote Desktop pages. Choosing a method to access UST resources from off campus depends on what type of access you require. If you need the ability to work from home as if you were on campus choose Remote Desktop (RDC). The Network VPN option is for a select few with very special requirements. If you are unsure of which option to choose, select "RDC" in the "Access Requested" form below. The VPN is restricted to Faculty and Staff use only, access can not be granted for student use.
