FY ’08 NTS Goals

1. Continue to assess telecommunication transport, access, and delivery services specifically addressing connectivity between the St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses.
2. Continued refinement of the plan for the Digital Convergence Initiative. 
3. Provide necessary NTS resources for the continuing development of the Information Commons.
4. Support efforts in the development of campus-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
5. Continuing assessment of a plan for a redundant fault tolerant network.
6. Work to insure a smooth transition to the private college consortium for the provisioning of internet services and a shared network platform.
7. Support efforts in the implementation of IP video and develop criteria and process for desktop IP video using Cisco AVID technology.
