While you were on break this summer, we made some improvements to this Information, Resources & Technologies website, moving some things around to make them easier for you to find and remember:
New "audience paths" for faculty, staff and students recognize that, although you're a unique person, you have some interests in common with others like you. So we grouped together links in those areas that should help meet the needs that we frequently hear about.
Left-hand navigation to each of the departments within IRT will bring you directly to our departments. You can select Client Services, Information Technology, Libraries, Network & Telecom Services, and Web & Media Services to find out the specifics of what each department does.
Our "self-service zone" is a collection of services that you can receive without any further consultation. If you’re here to "get something done," from buying hardware to changing a password, you might find it here.
Find help, tips and how-tos under the Help & Support menu, which is an index/map of the different areas we provide you service. Within each section, there’s both left-hand navigation, and a set of right-hand links, to help you quickly move through each area.
Services & Requests gathers things that come to us in an online-form, or requests that require you to provide us with some up front information.
A new News & Publication section holds the articles and presentations that IRT creates and publicizes throughout the year. This is where we put our most recent posts, and it includes an archive.
And, a section for "IRT projects" gives you information about projects and initiatives that are underway -- and reviews recent milestones or timelines as we progress.
We hope you find the IRT web site helpful and welcome your feedback. In fact, we have a link to a feedback form on the home page for your comments – use it, and let us know what you think!
