Dave Naugle
Director of Network and Telcom Services
Dave Naugle is Director of Network and Telecom Services (NTS). Dave and his staff of six are responsible for all voice and data communications at the University. Dave has been at St. Thomas since 1972. During that time he has he has had a variety of assignments within what has evolved into Information Resources and Technologies. Among his most significant accomplishments are serving as project lead in major campus telecommunications upgrades since 1991, the migration to Microsoft Exchange, and the enterprise Y2K project. He has also served on all major university construction project committees during this time.
Dave's responsibilities include:
- Enterprise strategic planning for network infrastructure, converged technologies and transport capacity.
- Operational responsibility for all enterprise voice and data network systems.
- Manage vendor relationships and agreements.
- NTS staff development.
- IRT representative on all university construction projects.
