Chris Gregg
Director of Information Security

Chris Gregg joined the University of St. Thomas community in September 1997 as a Technology Support Specialist in Computing and Communication Services.  He became an Associate Director in the newly formed Client Services department of Information Resources and Technologies in 2002, and was named Director in 2005.  In November 2006, he was named Director of Information Security.  He was previously a Technical Consultant in the WESTLAW customer service department at West Publishing in Eagan, MN.
Chris' responsibilities include: 

• Development, maintenance, and publication of information security policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
• Management responsibility for IRT Information Security team
• Maintain security focus for the organization
• Assist in organizational and human resource development planning and implementation for Information Technology department
• Management of IRT Partner relationships with the Graduate Programs in Software, QMCS, and Public Safety
