Confidentiality Agreements

The confidentiality agreement documents in the document library at IRBnet contain restrictions concerning data handling for Research Assistants and Transcribers including:

• Not disclosing information about the research topic to anyone except the Primary Investigator
• Keeping all aquired research information secure no matter what format it may be in (disks, tapes, transcripts, files, etc.)
• To return any and all Research Information back to the primary investigator when all tasks are completed.
• To destroy any research information that is not returnable to the Primary Investigator upon completion of the research: (information stored on a computer for example)

The online forms require signatures of both the Primary Investigator and the Research Assistant or Transcriber and must be submitted with the IRB application form.
