Student Engagement Surveys
During the 2007-08 academic year, the University of St. Thomas will administer three surveys in order to document dimensions of quality in undergraduate education and provide information to the UST community to improve student learning. This project is a joint venture between the Division of Academic Affairs and the Office of Institutional Research and Analysis.
The three surveys include the Beginning College Survey of Student Engagement (BCSSE), the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), and the Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE). The primary purpose of these surveys is to assess the extent to which undergraduate students at UST engage in educational practices associated with high levels of learning and development.
This page, maintained by IR&A staff, serves as an information portal to the UST community. Here you will find information pertaining to the three surveys to include the survey instruments, statistics, fact sheets, presentations, and technical reports. In addition, you will find similar documents related to past administrations of these surveys. Should you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Michael Cogan at 2-6657 or by email at mfcogan@stthomas.edu.
