Apply to Clinic for Fall 2017
Go beyond learning to think like a lawyer – learn to BE a lawyer. Clinics give rising 2nd and 3rd year law students the chance to practice in a wide variety of areas under the supervision of skilled attorney professors. Serve the common good and build your skills and confidence in your professional role.
Information sessions and clinic tabling sessions for students interested in clinic for Spring 2018 clinics will be held on the following days and times:
Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 12:30pm in MSL 235
Thursday October 5, 2017 at 3:30pm in MSL 238
Monday, October 9, 2017 at 12:30pm in MSL 235
Wednesday October 11 at 12:30pm, MSL 2nd Floor
Clinic faculty, current students, and staff will present information about clinic and be available to answer questions.
APPLICATIONS are available on Blackboard starting October 3, 2017.
Here is the path: Blackboard > Community tab > 2017 Law Registration Information > Legal Clinic Application (purple button on the left).
Enrollment in clinics is only through the clinic application and selection process. If you are not selected for a clinic through this process, you will not be able to enroll in a clinic.
CLINIC APPLICATIONS ARE DUE Friday, October 20, 2017 at 4pm.
CIVIL CLINIC OVERVIEW: Clinic students will learn the substantive law, lawyering skills and professional ethics necessary to serve clients in one of our many clinic offerings. Please visit the Legal Services Clinic or Blackboard sites for more information.

NOTE: There is only one application and selection process for fall 2017 and 2017-2018 academic year clinics. Spring 2018 only clinics will have a separate application and selection process.
