Rules/ Expectations

  • Teams consist of 6 players: 3 men, 3 women. You may play with less, but the ratio should always be 1:1

  • Matches consist of the best of three games to 15 points (win by 2)
  • If the ball hits an obstacle (basketball hoop, baseball net, etc.) and stays on your side of the net, you may play it. If it goes over the net after hitting an obstacle, it is considered out of bounds.
  • There are no officials. Call your own game and be honest. If there is a problem, notify the scorer’s table for assistance.
  • Attacking or blocking the serve is illegal
  • If a team doesn’t notify league officials and misses a game they will be dropped from the league.
  • All other rules will follow standard volleyball rules
  • The winning team must report all scores to the scorer’s table when finished with your match
