CAPTAINS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING SURE THAT THEIR TEAM KNOWS THE FOLLOWING RULES:

MUST READ

  • Current Varsity and JV players are not eligible
  • All players participating must be current UST students, staff, alumni, or faculty
  • If your team doesn’t show up for a game without contacting IM officials, your team will be taken out of the league
  • All players must have a valid UST ID
  • Teams must have 5 rostered players to start the game
  • Games will consist of two 20 minute halves
  • Teams are allowed 1 time-out per half with no carry over
  • The clock will run except during time-outs and the last 2 minutes of the game
  • Overtime will be 2 minutes, stopped clock, and if necessary a second overtime will be sudden death
  • Players will call their own fouls which will result in a side-out, except during the final two minutes of the game and in overtime where they will result in 1 and 1’s for common fouls and 2 shots for shooting fouls.
  • Offense and defense may both call fouls, RESPECT all calls
  • Technical fouls will result in awarding 2 points and the ball
  • Fighting will result in immediate forfeiture
  • If the court has a 3-point line, it will be played
