Citizenship in Mind

In this occasional series, members of the ICC advisory board and other invited guests share their reflections on the persons, events, readings, and other experiences that first got them thinking seriously about the relationship between Catholic identity, politics, and citizenship (American and otherwise).

The underlying assumption of the series is that how we come to our beliefs—about the Church, citizenship, and the relationship between them—is often as important and illuminating as the substance of those beliefs themselves.

All opinions expressed are those of the authors alone, and are not to be attributed to either the Institute for Catholicism & Citizenship or the University of St. Thomas as a whole.
