The University of St. Thomas encourages a balance between the demands of work and personal life responsibilities for its employees. In these difficult economic times, offering a variety of programs geared toward this goal is one way we provide employees additional benefit with little or no cost to UST.
Our work/life balance program offers an array of services and activities - all are geared toward creating a positive and productive work environment for our employees. Some of the programs include taking days off from work with or without pay, working a modified or compressed work schedule, assistance in locating day care services, and nutrition and wellness seminars. UST’s work/life balance program addresses key areas of work/life balance - family, professional development, and employee appreciation and recognition.
