The Leadership Academy is a professional development program for faculty and staff dedicated to making the University of St. Thomas a great place to work and a place where people can do great work. The program is designed and offered exclusively for employees at St. Thomas to support the needs of individuals and the University of St. Thomas' academic and administrative units.

The academy offers this support through an array of professional development opportunities organized into several series customized to meet the needs of different employee groups, including:

  • Faculty and department chairs
  • Managers
  • Support staff
  • Employees working with technology
  • Sessions open to all

Please remember to seek supervisor approval before registering for sessions. Participation may be limited for some sessions so you are encouraged to check the listings and register early. We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule individual sessions due to low registration.

Further technology courses are available at the Science Museum of Minnesota: Computer Education Center.  These courses are available to St. Thomas employees at a discounted rate through the ACTC school network.  For more information see the Science Museum ACTC Information Guide.
