Disability

While most of us do not expect to become disabled and unable to work, it is important to be prepared for the possibility of an extended absence from work.  Becoming disabled can have a devastating impact on your family and your financial obligations if you are unable to work.

Short-term Disability Insurance

Short-term disability insurance provides you with income protection when an injury or illness, or pregnancy results in your continuous disability.  You will be automatically enrolled in the UST Short-term Disability Plan.  This benefit is provided by UST to eligible employees at no cost.
