The University of St. Thomas has a variety of history resources available:
"Getting Started" is an introductory research guide that provides biographies and background information on important historical people and events.
"Find Primary Sources for Historical Research" explains what primary sources are and where you can find them in the library and on the internet.
"Find Books and Videos" can assist you in locating secondary materials that provide analysis of historical events and primary sources in history.
"Find Articles" provides links to major databases for scholarly and peer-reviewed journal articles and provides links to a wide array of films, audio files, and images related to historical people and events.
"Finding Audio and Visual Resources" provides links to a wide array of films, audio files, and images related to historical people and events.
The Center for Writing provides one-to-one conferences with peer writing consultants who can help you interpret writing assignments, clarify the focus of your work, and revise your writing to produce an effective paper. They can also direct you to resources that will help you improve your writing style.
