Since his arrival at St. Thomas in 1972, Dr. Chrislock has taught courses in 19th and 20th century Europe, East Central Europe since 1699, History of U.S. Foreign Policy, 20th century U.S. History, Survey of Modern European History, and History of the Modern World Since 1550.  Dr. Chrislock was the recipient of a year-long National Humanities Grant for College Teachers to engage in a project on European High and Popular Culture at UCLA.  He received a Fulbright Research Grant to Czechoslovakia for a book he published on a Czech/Czech American leader, and has published widely in the area of Czech immigration to America
