The Affect of Core Strength on Club Head Speed in Golf
Matthew Farmer
mjfarmer@stthomas.edu

-Data suggests a high correlation for the OB MVC and a moderate Correlation for the RA % used, however these results are not statistically significant

-further research should be done examining other muscles and their affect on club head speed
-also, the effect on core strength and opening of the hips during the backswining.
-larger sample size may also prove to be beneficial.
