Core Muscular Endurance and Running Performance in Trained Distance Runners

The research conducted was inconclusive and further research is needed by having more specific tests,
Larger subject group and controlled test conditions.
Endurance athletes should still include core strengthening in their training regimen.

Research procedure: 
1)  Assess core muscular endurance
2)  Assess running performance
3)  Statistical Analysis

Negative results may have been caused by:
Low number of subjects
Athletic type of subjects
Raceday conditions
