
Since our new offices are under construction, we have moved to a temporary location in Murray Herrick (MHC) 207. We are located down the hall from the cafeteria on the second floor. 2009 Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research article was written by Dr. Dan Carey from the Health and Human Performanc Department along with Courtney Tofte, Dr. German Pliego, and Dr. Robert Raymond on "Transferability of running and cycling training zones in triathletes: Implications for steady-state exercise. This article can be found in the January 2009 issue, volume 23, issue 1.
Dr. Dan Carey, College of Arts and Sciences (Health and Human Performance Department), Dr. German Pliego and Dr. Robert Raymond (Quantitative Methods and Computer Science Department) are co-authors of an article, “A comparison of different heart rate deflection methods to predict the anaerobic threshold,” published in the fall 2008 issue of the European Journal of Sport Science. The article deals with the validity, or lack thereof, of the heart rate breakpoint theory in assessing the anaerobic threshold.
