Paul Mellick is an exercise physiologist from Silver Bay, Minnesota.  He received his undergraduate and master’s degrees from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN, and is finishing his Ph.D. at The University of North Carolina-Greensboro.  His primary area of interest is high intensity exercise and metabolism.   Paul thoroughly enjoys working with students and helping them to understand exercise science from an applied perspective.  While earning his Ph.D., Paul spent his summers as a personal trainer and strength coach and has helped multiple clients reach their fitness goals.

In his spare time, Paul likes to play basketball, lift weights and spend time with his wife, Lauren.
