Course Description:
This course examines the skeletal and muscular systems of the human body which contribute to movement. An overview of anatomy and physiology, bones and skeletal tissues, the skeleton, joints, muscles and muscle tissues and the muscular system will be studied with greatest emphasis placed on the bones, articulations, ligaments and muscles that produce movement. The fundamentals of the nervous system with emphasis on the central nervous system are covered. Two laboratory hours per week.
