| This course will introduce students to the current drug abuse issues. An overview of the various drugs of abuse, public policies concerning those drugs, and the related consequences and concerns will be discussed. The primary goals of the course are to provide students with current information regarding drugs of abuse adn to increase their awareness of the issues and consequences surrounding drug use, abuse, and addiction. Trends in drug abuse, legal issues, determinats of use, pharmacology, and other issues will all be covered in this course. |
