The Health and Human Performance Department educates students to be morally responsible leaders who think critically, act wisely, and work skillfully to advance the common good in the fields of health, physical education, and exercise science.
The Health and Human Performance Departments’ demanding curriculum provides students with numerous opportunities to put classroom exercise science and teaching theory into practice through community-based learning, inquiry-based teaching pedagogy, study abroad, clinical experiences, internships, and student-faculty collaborative research.
