Scholars on their way to graduate school:

  • Fartun Dirie has begun her studies this fall at Brown University. Fartun will be studying Public Health.
  • Shannon Heitkamp, has begun her two-year contract with Mathematica in Princeton, New Jersey, where she will engage research and gain professional experience before pursuing her graduate degree.
  • Tamnnet Kidanu has also begun her studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville this fall. Tamnnet is studying Public Health.
  • Shanea Turner was awarded the prestigious Olin Fellowship at Washington, University where she will begin her masters in social work.
  • Aubrey Strenger is pursuing her J.D. at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
