ALTERNATE HORIZONTAL FORMAT
The identifier and its alternate formats presented in this Web manual
are refinements of the version that resulted from a process involving
all university constituencies and a cross section of its students and
alumni.
Certain applications, as defined by University Relations, may call for
the use of the format shown on this page. In this format version, the
shield has been moved to a centered position above the university's name,
and the word "Minnesota" has been added in a centered position
below. No other words or constituency identifiers may be used in place
of Minnesota, and constituency indentification must fall within the control
area guidelines. For more information about CONTROL

Shield position, as well as type style, size and position, have all been defined as shown, and no alteration or modification of this format is permitted. Please contact University Relations at (651) 962-6400 with any questions regarding the use of this format.
