Alumni Giving: Donations and Mentoring
It may have been weeks, months or years since you were here on campus as a Graduate Programs in Software student. We invite you to give of your time and/or funds to help our current and future Graduate Programs in Software students succeed.
Gifts of Money: Donations
We know for many of you your education was funded by your employer, a loan or by your own funds. We realize how nice it would be to have scholarships to give to our students. We would like to begin to do this and we need your help. To endow a scholarship for our graduate software students we need to raise at least $50,000. Gifts can be given now or pledged over five years. Your gift can be doubled if you work for an organization that matches employee gifts to charitable organizations. We welcome donations in any amount.

Gifts of Time: Mentoring
As a graduate of our program, we invite you to consider volunteering to informally mentor a Graduate Programs in Software student. GPS Alumni are needed to volunteer their time, knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- Advice on what courses to take
- American culture, what is expected, what to do in a certain situation
- Career development/ advancement
- Taking a student with similar job interests to lunch
As a GPS alumnus how can I become a mentor?
If you wish to volunteer your time, knowledge, and experience on one or more of the topics listed above (or any other) please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org stating that you are interested in becoming a GPS mentor and what areas of help/experience you can provide. Please indicate all areas in which you are willing to mentor students. When a GPS student requests a mentor, the GPS staff will give out your contact information (name, phone number, and e-mail address) to the student requesting help. GPS students are responsible for contacting the alumni and seeking out the help they need.
