Dr. Skip Nolan has been a member of the UST faculty since 1971.  During this time he has served as Program Director several times, Program Chair, Associate Dean, Practicum and Internship Coordinator and the Founding Dean of the Graduate School of Professional Psychology.  Dr. Nolan was one of the founders of the Career Counseling and Personal Growth Center at UST and served as the Co-Director during the early years of operation.  Skip Nolan has served as a  consultant for the Mental Health Collective, Hazelden, St. Mary's Rehabilitation Program, The Center for Family Unity, The City, Inc., and the Unisys EAP Program.

He worked as a member of a group private practice for over 20 years.  Currently, Dr. Nolan's areas of interest include; group psychotherapy, ethics, marital/relationship counseling, family therapy, individual therapy and work with people recovering from chemical addictions.  He has been focusing his most recent research on the ethical issues involved in interprofessional collaboration.
