ST. ANTHONY FALLS LABORATORY, UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA: DR. HICKSON

Dr. Tom Hickson works closely with University of Minnesota geologists and engineers to solve problems of sediment transport and deposition. His work has centered on understanding the controls on the geometry of basin-scale sedimentary deposits. Currently working with the NSF-sponsored National Center for Earth Surface Dynamics (NCED), he has mainly focused on work done in the Experimental Earthscape Facility (or Jurassic Tank).
