All-Ink.com College Scholarship Program

This scholarship is open for students with a minimum gpa of 2.5 who are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.  Applicants submit a 50-200 word essay on who has had the greatest impact on their life, and a 50-200 word essay on what they hope to achieve in their personal and professional life after college.

American Foundation of Vision Awareness Scholarship

The AFVA-Minnesota Affiliate is offering two scholarships, each valued at $1500 to Minnesota students entering optometry school in the fall of 2008.

Ethel Curry Scholarship

The MN Department of Education-Indian Education Office, in conjunction with the Minnesota Academic Excellence Foundation and the family of the late Ethel Curry offer scholarship programs for the 2007-08 and 2008-09 academic years.  This program is open to American Indian students who are affiliated with a Minnesota-based tribe or community and have GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Institute for Humane Studies Academic Writing Competition

Applicants compete for $4000 in prizes for the best work. The topic of the essay is "What factors lead to prosperity, progress, and human flourishing?"

National Association of Women in Construction Scholarship

The NAWIC Chapter #164 offers a scholarship program.  Awards are for no less than $1000 per award per academic year.  Applicants must be female, enrolled in a construction-related degree program, be a full-time student, and have a GPA of 3.0 or better.

Ronald Reagan Future Leaders Program

This scholarship is open to students who demonstrate leadership on behalf of the cause of freedom, American values, and constitutional principles.  This program recognizes outstanding leaders on campus and in the community.  An essay describing the student's background, educational and career objectives, leadership and achievements, among other criteria will be required.

Talbots Women’s Scholarship Fund

Applicants must have earned a high school diploma or GED on or before September 1998.  Additional requirements include be attending the full 2008-09 academic year and receiving a degree no earlier than May 2009.  Scholarships are either valued at $1000 or $10,000.

Wayne V. Black Scholarship

Applicants must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher and be working towards a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, project management, law, political science, or telecommunications.
