Congratulations! Earning your degree is quite an accomplishment, and we wish you the very best in your life after St. Thomas!
Before you go, however, there are a few things we want to share with you.
If you borrowed any student loans, be sure you completely understand your repayment responsibilities. You are responsible for repaying your loans even if you don't receive a bill or repayment notice. You'll want to be sure to know where to send your payments, where to send written correspondence, what repayment options are available to you and what the consequences will be if you do not repay your loans. You also must immediately notify your loan holder of any change to your name, address, phone number or social security number.
Federal Perkins Loan: Recipients of the Federal Perkins Loan program are required to complete exit counseling with the Perkins Loan Office on campus. For more information, contact Lindsey Barott at ldbarott@stthomas.edu or (651) 962-6612.
Federal Direct Subsidized or Unsubsidized Loan: Recipients of the Federal Direct Subsidized or Unsubsidized Loan must complete online exit counseling at www.dlssonline.com or schedule an exit counseling meeting with the Undergraduate Financial Aid Office.
