Transfer Academic Recognition Award

The Transfer Academic Recognition Award was created to recognize the academic accomplishments of transfer students who have demonstrated academic success at the post secondary level.

Who is eligible to apply?
Newly-admitted St. Thomas transfer students that have obtained a 2.8 or higher cumulative grade point average in transferable college course work from a regionally accredited college or university are eligible to apply.

What is the value of the Transfer Academic Recognition Award?
Awards will vary. Students may receive up to $12,000 per year.

- Awards are renewable for a number of consecutive semesters.
  (To be determined individually based on the recipient’s transfer credits.)
- All recipients will be required to maintain satisfactory academic progress.

How can I apply?
The University of St. Thomas will send an application to all qualified prospective transfer students.  Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and recipients will be selected until the Transfer Academic Recognition Award funds are exhausted.
