National Scholarships

UST students have been successful in receiving funds from prestigious national competitive scholarship programs such as the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship for outstanding students in mathematics, the natural sciences and engineering, the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship program for study abroad, and the Fulbright Scholars Program for post-baccalaureate study.

To assist St. Thomas students in applying for these competitive programs, UST designates a faculty or staff member to serve as the campus contact, promote the program and assist in the application process. Upon your enrollment at St. Thomas, read the Bulletin Today, the daily St. Thomas online newsletter, for announcements regarding any national scholarship competition for which you may be eligible. Also contact your major department or advisor for additional scholarship opportunities.
