Child Care Assistance
Description and Eligibility
Undergraduate students who have children 12 and under (14 and under if handicapped) and who demonstrate financial need.
The amount of funding available each year varies depending upon the amount allocated to the University of St. Thomas by the State of Minnesota. Recipients may not be receiving assistance from the Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP).
Funds are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis with priorty given to fund recipients from the previous year.
Award Amounts
Eligible students may receive up to $2,600 per child per year to help pay for child care from the Minnesota Child Care Grant Program.
Application and Contact Information
Applications may be obtained from the Undergraduate Financial Aid Office beginning in July for the following school year.
