Protection of Human and Animal Research Subjects Institutional Review Board Faculty whose research involves animal use (or who teach classes in which students use animals as part of the course work) must obtain approval from the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee before starting their work. Faculty should consult with the chair of the Department of Biology to obtain information about this process. |
