Travel Grants |
UST faculty
and staff who are eligible to serve as a principal investigator
on an external grant are invited to apply for travel funds to
support the development of grant proposals directed to
governmental agencies. |

Foundation Program Grant |
The University of St. Thomas received a Bush Foundation Program grant for 2002-05 to improve undergraduate education.
The purpose of the grant is to improve students' higher-order thinking skills by employing more inquiry-based instruction and faculty/student collaboration |

for International Education |
A variety
of international opportunities for faculty and staff are
coordinated by the Center for International Education. Details

Special
Projects Grants |
The
dean of the Undergraduate College awards grants of up to
$1,000 in support of such activities as manuscript typing,
travel in excess of departmental budgetary allocations,
and undertaking major course revision not otherwise supported.
A written proposal, including anticipated outcomes and budget
details, must be submitted to the dean, who will respond
within two weeks.

for Faculty Development |
The
Center for Faculty Development at the University of St.
Thomas fosters and supports the personal and professional
growth of faculty in the areas of teaching, research, and
service. The Center conducts various programs that recognize
the diversity of faculty interests and skills and provides
grant funding for specifically targeted initiatives.
