Using IDEA data for year-end reporting, 3rd year review and promotion and tenure.

A recent blog post on the IDEA Center web site explains how faculty can use IDEA data for year-end reporting, 3rd year review and promotion and tenure. The post explains how faculty might consider using IDEA data to identify trends over time and create a development plan with IDEA data and reflection statements.

In June 2013, IDEA Center consultant Pamela Christoffers led a faculty workshop on using IDEA data and an automated "IDEA Faculty Worksheet" which tracks IDEA scores over time. The worksheet also graphs the information so you can easily see trends in your IDEA scores over time. The worksheet also includes a section with reflective questions to aid in creating a professional development plan.
