How to Write a Successful Research Grant Proposal—Jan. 10

|

Monday, Jan. 10

2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

155 Murray Herrick

Deadline: Jan. 4, 2011

Faculty Development Research Grants are due February 1, 2011 at 4 p.m.

If you intend to apply for a Research Grant, we strongly encourage you to attend this workshop. Faculty Development staff and committee members will discuss the purpose of the grant and its three levels. They will then go through the application line by line to address the content and style expectations of the FD Committee, which recommends the proposals for funding. Register by Jan. 4 by responding to the registration email sent to you.

* Because of the lack of FD committee reviewers available this January, there will be no pre-review of RG applications, as we have in the past. * This means that no FD staff or committee members will be able to review your proposals before they are due. If you have questions about the application form itself, or how to answer guiding questions in the narrative, and you cannot attend either workshop, FD staff can answer them.
