The Center for Faculty
Development has a lending library with many resource
books on faculty work-- on teaching/learning issues; on
professional writing, grant writing; on higher education
in general; on leadership in academia. Examples include: Teaching
College Freshmen; Women's Ways of Knowing; Classroom
Assessment Techniques. Along with the books, there
are several videos available for checking out as well.

number of journals and magazines on teaching and higher
education, e.g.
The Teaching Professor, The National Teaching and
Learning Forum, Women in Higher Education, Black Issues in Higher
Education, Journal of Higher Education, and
Online Classroom. Journals, magazines and
newspapers are for use in the Center.
