Lunch with a vegetarian option will be served after a blessing from Fr. Malone.

11:50 a.m.: Dr. Huber, 20/20: Twenty Years in Twenty Minutes, a reflection on noteworthy changes at UST over the last two decades of her career here
12:20 p.m.: Mark Vansgard, budget update
12:40 p.m.: Drs. Carvalho and Cogan, strategic planning update

About Dr. Huber

Dr. Susan Huber is the executive vice president and provost at the University of St. Thomas. She assists the president with the overall strategic direction of the University and especially its academic mission. She provides leadership and supervision to the vice president for student affairs, the vice president for IRT, the associate vice presidents and staff in the Office of Academic Affairs, the deans in the university's six colleges and schools, the director of the libraries and the directors of multiple academic centers.

Sue is a tenured faculty member and full professor in the College of Education, Leadership and Counseling, where she also served as department chair, associate dean and dean. She earned a degree in Latin and English from the College of St. Teresa, Winona, MN, followed by an MA in Curriculum and Instruction and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership both from the then College of St. Thomas.

Annual Elections for the Exempt Staff Council

In February, the elections process for next year’s Exempt Staff Council members will kick off with a call for nominations. Start thinking about who you believe would be a good addition to the council and watch for the call for nominations in late February.

Here is the schedule for this year's elections:

  • February 28: Nominations open - submit your nomination form
  • March 14: Nominations close
  • April 1: Voting opens
  • April 9: Voting closes
  • April 10-11: Winners contacted
  • April 21: Newsroom announcement of newly elected council members
